WHAT TO SEE AND DO TAROUDANT?
In the hinterland of Agadir (about 70 kilometers separate them), Taroudant is a city in Morocco with more than 60,000 inhabitants, located close to wed Souss. This river runs through a long fertile valley framed by the massifs of the Middle Atlas to the north and the Anti-Atlas to the south.
Industrial and agricultural, Taroudant is also noted for its craftsmanship on the stalls of the souks of the city. Its existence is ancient: of Berber origin, the Romans used Taroudant as an outpost.
Passed under the control of various Muslim dynasties during the middle ages, the city ended up being surrounded by ramparts to protect itself: these fortifications are still intact, with its towers and its gates (Bab), giving Taroudant a special character.
This very exotic destination invites you to discover splendid landscapes near the desert. Between the Berber market, the Souk and the tannery, familiarize yourself with the local production of great wealth.

The weather in Taroudant
Its climate is characterized by hot and humid winds with clouds at night and generous sunshine during the day. The winters are quite cold and the summers hot with temperatures reaching 45 ° C during the month of August. And when the temperatures are very high, there is a risk of thunderstorms.
In winter, the minimum average temperature is recorded at over 20 ° C; however, it is the coolest season of the year.
Note also that the rains are quite rare in the city; but short and heavy rains are recorded in January, February and March.
